Bloodline:
"Sage Transformation" Juugo constantly, and instinctively, absorbs natural energy, and when combined with his chakra and a special liquid/enzyme his cells produce, allows him to transform his body in a variety of ways. He can bolster his own already naturally powerful strength and make his body into various weapons (axes, piston powered "hammers", chains, etc) He can also turn parts of himself along with chakra into biological energy cannons or jet-boosters to attack or increase his power and/or speed. He can do this at will, and change form instantaneously.
--The forms he uses in canon have been given names: Chain, Piston Fist, Piston Fist: Style One, Destroying Axe Fist, Jet Booster Jump, Multiple Lotus Nonself Connect Cannons

Bloodline related jutsu:
--Chakra Transfer Technique: transfers his natural-energy-filled chakra to another person
--Cellular Regeneration Rejection: Using his chakra and flesh, he can heal someone else "compatable" with him, restoring them, while decreasing his mass and apparent age.
--Cellular Regeneration Absorption: When transformed, if there is a very recently dead corpse, he can take cells and chakra from it to heal himself

Bloodline side-effects:
The biggest drawback to this is that, completely out of his control, this ability sometimes sends him into murderous rages where he attacks everything and anyone in sight, cannot tell friend from foe, and continues until he's run out of things to destroy or reaches exhaustion.

Ninjutsu:
According to the fourth databook, he's apparently is capable of:
Yang Release: this is a big component of his Sage Transformation

Wind Release
Earth Release
--The latter three are never shown, as he doesn't appear to have any training in elemental ninjutsu.

Genjutsu:: Nada. No training for it at all.

Taijutsu:: Juugo is primarily a physical fighter, but it's obvious that he fights in an uncoordinated, almost instinctive way, and not in any trained style. He's the bar brawler crashing the martial arts convention, basically.

Weapons:: He doesn't use them.

Other jutsu:
As an additional ability, Juugo can understand and be understood by animals, and he's especially close to birds. He can use them as an information gathering network, which is very effective, but mostly he is just friends with them.

Appearance: Juugo is huge, very very tall and athletic. He's 202.1 cm, which is about 6 feet, 7.57 inches. He has bright orange spiky hair and similarly orange eyes and pale skin.

When his power is active, his skin first gains glowing marks that resemble live coals that race across it and settle into black marks, or turn his skin completely gray. His eyes change color, to bright gold with black sclera, and only his hair remains the same.

In Sunshine he tends to wear very loose, simple clothing, often without an adequate coat or hat to keep out Ame's rain, and tends to be varying amounts of wet. His shirts are either partly backless, or have slits for his winged-technique, and never more than short-sleeved. He wears shorts, or again, loose pants, and open-style sandals. Usually seen with at least one bird, or other animal, around him, and wears Ame's hitai-ate around his forehead most of the time. He also has several earrings made of chakra receivers, and a single earl piercing through the bridge of his nose.

Personality: Juugo is a collection of contradictions, all bundled up with a power he can't quite control. Most of the time Juugo is a sweet, caring, and very gentle. Juugo is very non-violent, and fear and guilt over harming people is one of his biggest motivators, especially in his early life. The very thought of killing people disturbs him so greatly that for a long time he hid himself away from all people and avoided as much contact as he could. Killing even one more person is one of his worst fears. These facts make others describe him as a "coward."

These things also make him completely ignore his own health and safety, just for a chance to be free of what drives him to hurt people. In not understanding his own abilities, he believed them a curse, and willingly subjected himself to Orochimaru's experiments with the hope of being "cured." The lengths he's gone to or considered going to to prevent killing would probably make more stable people cringe.

In that vein, he's not really emotionally stable. Isolation, fear, and his own powers have had an effect. He's got poor social skills, and it shows in the way he tends toward a lack of expression, and his lack of conversational skills. He's become a man of very few words, preferring to watch and listen instead of speaking, and has a tendency to keep even important thoughts to himself. This isn't even counting his "other side" which will be discussed in more detail later.

Juugo also doesn't have a vindictive bone in his body. Revenge isn't in his vocabulary, at least for wrongs committed against him personally. On some level, his guilt influences this. A part of him subconsciously believes he deserves it. On the other hand, he is very peaceful and forgiving by nature, so that is the bigger reason.

Juugo is very calm and collected when he's not in the grip of fear or his other side, and he's very patient. This gives him to be a peacemaker if he's in a group, even with volatile personalities. With his ability to speak with animals, and also the fact that he's able to show them he's utterly nonthreatening, he's able to be a useful scout. He quite loves all animals, and is very happy to let birds especially perch on him and carry on conversations with them.

He's also very much a follower. He rarely takes the lead, and is obedient to what the others tell him to do, as long as it doesn't directly bring harm to an innocent or someone in his group. In addition to that, though, he's also extremely loyal, and will go to great lengths to continue following someone who's shown him either great kindness, or has aided him in any way of controlling his other side.

This is all blown out the window when he becomes enraged and his berserk side appears. His berserk side is bloodthirsty and extremely violent, prone to muttering constantly and yelling. This side expresses violence and hatred towards everything and everyone, and only seeks to kill and destroy. He has no self-preservation like this, and is prone to being very cocky in addition to being violent and for the most part, not being able to tell friend from foe. On the other hand, this side of him is capable of remembering things, and making decisions, at least to a limited extent.

Sunshine Abilities/Powers:
Bloodline:
Juugo has all his abilities as described in canon, and has worked to improve and practice those skills. His ability to transform is more versatile and creative with all the work put into learning how to fight more effectively with it and learn its limits. He's also developed and favors a transformation that gives him wings and allows him to fly.

Additionally, Juugo has spent almost three years training under Nagato and has learned the following:
General:
--Basics: Henge, Kawarimi, etc, as well as Water Walking and warming himself with chakra, like most Ame students learn.

--Sensing: Along with Juugo's ability to gather and incorporate natural energy instinctively comes the ability sense people that all senjutsu users have, but it was not developed and he didn't realize he even had it until contact and training with Nagato. He's not a master of it yet, but when he concentrates he can become aware of every individual, people and animals, within a pretty decent radius, and because his energy absorption never turns off, he's always sensing people around him in a smaller area of a few meters.

Taijutsu:
Juugo has progressed to about average chuunin level for someone who specializes in hand-to-hand. Style-wise, he tends towards defensive, and blocks/deflects more than he dodges, before countering attacks to disarm and disable, and only gets aggressive if something he cares for is being threatened.

Weapons:
Juugo knows the basics of weapons like kunai and shuriken, but he generally doesn't use them. He also knows basic trap-making and how to use wires and explosive tags

Genjutsu:
Juugo knows some of the most basic skills, but mostly only knows the basic defenses against them. He's had little interest beyond that, but may be convinced to learn more.

Ninjutsu::
--General ninjutsu: Juugo's chakra always has a natural energy component in it, making it senjutsu chakra, and his techniques in general more powerful than other users.

--Water release:
Juugo's most intrinsic affinity, and Nagato has taught him several jutsu. He is most likely to use lower levels or less powerful of these as they can be used to push an opponent away, or disorient them while causing slightly less damage than other elemental jutsu. As examples, he knows Wild Water Wave, Water Bullet, and is learning the components that will let him properly use Rain Tiger at Will eventually.

--Wind Release:
Juugo's secondary affinity. Overall he knows fewer techniques, and uses them slightly less, as they tend to be more powerfully offensive in nature. His most used technique is a defensive one that creates a tight vortex around him that will deflect projectiles, and another that can manipulate dust and dirt into an obscuring shield. But, he's also learned Gale Palm from Nagato, and variations on the Sickle Weasel technique.

--Earth Release:
His newest element. Juugo mostly has learned purely defensive techniques like Earth-style wall, but he's also in the process of learning more offensive ones.

--Ninjutsu and Sage Transformation combinations:
This is a very fledgeling technique he's ever so slowly working on developing, that would allow him to combine the bodily transformations of his natural jutsu with elemental ninjutsu. His current project is trying to combine Water Bullet with his energy cannons, but he hasn't been successful yet.

Sunshine History:
Juugo was born to a couple who lived just beyond the outskirts of a small, remote village. His family were poor farmers, and were treated with fear and suspicion by the villagers. He was a sweet, gentle child, taking after his mother in a shared love and (very are, but he didn't know it then) understanding of animals. Occasionally his mother would disappear for a day or two, running off in fear, but she would always come back, tired and dirty, but more relaxed. They lived in constant subtle tension that Juugo didn't understand the reason of until he was about four.

That was the first time his mother didn't get away in time, and Juugo witnessed her transforming and going into a wild, murderous rage for the first, and last time. Half the village was slaughtered and many homes destroyed before she came out of the rage, and she didn't resist when the remaining villagers fell on her with their hoes and sickles. Her last words to Juugo were an apology for passing on her curse to him. The villagers then turned on Juugo and his father, intent on killing them before Juugo turned into a similar monster.

The stress and fear and grief were enough to trigger Juugo's first transformation, and when Juugo came down from the rage he was the only living thing left in the village, and one of the ruined homes had started on fire. Consumed by fear and guilt, Juugo fled into the forest, and the birds and animals helped take care of him. He was too afraid to seek others out, but eventually a lack of adequate food and clothing forced him to find another village. He began living in a cave a decent walk away, and only went into the village to beg for handouts. This worked well enough for a while, but eventually during a time when his raging side came out, Juugo ended up going down the village and killing everyone there and burning it to the ground in the process.

Word of the atrocities spread, and eventually Orochimaru came knocking, and offered Juugo a cure if Juugo would come and let Orochimaru run experiments. Juugo went with him, and underwent every experiment without complaint, but Orochimaru wanted to see his abilities in action, and Juugo was repeatedly put into confined places with other ninja test-subjects and pushed until his raging-side came out. Those almost always ended up with the others put in with him dead, even when Orochimaru finalized the Curse Seal with the fluids he'd taken from Juugo and put the ones successfully transformed by it in with Juugo.

During this time, Juugo learned, entirely by accident that he could give flesh and energy (he didn't know he had chakra at that point) to his "copies" to heal them, and likewise, one of the few times he was beaten and badly injured, that he could likewise take the same things from corpses to heal himself.

Then something pushed Orochimaru to change research locations, and Juugo went into an episode on the trip. He broke free of the chains that had been put on him and came back to himself having killed many of the ninja in the group. Hopeless and despairing, Juugo fled instead of going back to Orochimaru, and returned to life in caves, moving when people came to close, or a raging episode drove him to ruin the area, or kill people.

His nomadic existence eventually put him on the borders of Rain Country when he was about sixteen, and Nagato, curious about his chakra came out to look into things. After a conversation, Nagato essentially adopted him and took him back to Ame. Juugo was taken care of, taught all the skills he was lacking, including fighting and reading and writing, and even, with Nagato's help learned to better control the rages. His control isn't perfect yet, but the methods Nagato developed provide a safe way of dealing with it when his control does slip.

Recently, Nagato promoted him to Chuunin, and Juugo is being encouraged to become more independant.

Differences in personality:
--Juugo is less motivated by fear, as he has more control, and the security of knowing Nagato can handle it if he does slip up
--Juugo is intensely devoted to and cares for Nagato. He will do anything for Nagato, and by extension Ame
--Juugo is even more shy and uncertain around strangers, but when he warms up to someone, more likely to be affectionate.
